It arrived today, and DAMN was I impressed.
1 gig on a tiny piece of thin plastic, a fraction of the size of a normal sd card.
And most of that was taken up connecting the actual memory bit to the connection pins.
The actual gig of memory must have covered a wafer-thin 5mm x 5mm square.
And inside £20 delivered.
I had no idea that things were still advancing so ferociously.
My doting adoration for this technology is renewed!

What kind of bizaro world do we live in? I take a couple of years off from paying attention to it all, and I come back with the shock and awe of someone who just stepped out of the 60s.
I don't really care about 'latest technology' for its own sake, but the versatility, compact-ness and affordability of this stuff - such incredible function, so cheap - just blows me away.
