Sarnassa: My world; 2589 AD

INTRODUCTION:
The debate over our past on this world reaches back through the entire documented history of civilisation, a period covering over 1300years. The harsh conditions across this world, Sarnassa, fuelled the myths of other places and times where we did not have to spend so much of our strenth on simple survival. While the issue of our past was primarily a religious matter, it wasnt until the dawning of the time of reason that advances in the biological and chemical sciences revealed a disturbing lack of commonality between our biochemical makeup and that of most Sarnassian life. Ironically, it was the birth if the daiamid movement, with its many scientific breakthroughs, that created a philosophical environment where the oldest myths and the newest theories could be wedded into what we now have accepted as the Xenogenisi theory. Except for a small variety of bacteria and a single species of forager, our helix proteins are completely different from all other forms of life on Sarnassa. We are left with no other choice but to seriously consider the theory that we are aliens to this world. Of course, this answer only led to more questions.

Sarnassa: The Story;
It all started with scientists sending out sattalite radar to detect larger debris belts and life.
The sattalite malfunctioned and started to head towards the planet Sarnassa, on its path it picked up a large signal overacross the Great Desert.
It showed that it was over 75m deep.
Scientists went out and discovered that they had just found an ancient city.
This city was khar-toba. They found a metallic structure arounf the city.
They soon revealed it to be a skeletal chassis of an advance vessel.
Later archaeologist Sagald had found something that was as unremarkable to the casual eye as it was monumental to the future of our people.
The guidestone.
The guidestone was found in the ruins of the khar-toba, it has been dated at over 3000years old.
Precise galactic features and the indisputable coordinates of Sarnassa were etched into its dark surface.
In a small area near the region representing the galactic core, a single ancient word is clearly visible "Home".
Also known as Higaara.
In the first triad of 2095, a final plan was accepted for the vessel that would follow the path indicated by the guidestone.
The mothership.
This vessel would be part carrier, part survey ship, part factory complex and, most importantly of all, the tempory home for millions of our people frozen in cryogenic sleep.
It would have to be able to deal with the greatest unknown reaches of the galaxy, and whatever discoveries or threats they might contain.
It would be the greatest construction project in our history!
It took 20years to build the infrastructure required for the construction project.
The orbiting scaffold where the mother ship would be built.
This framework took 10years to complete.
This mothership went on a quest to find the "homeworld".
On its way it encountered many dangers and threats from unknown species and an enemy.
The Taiidan fleet.
The mothership left the scaffold in the Sarnassa system and hyperspaced to the outskirts of the Sarnassa system.
Many small ships were sent to destroy the Kushan mothership (our mothership).
They failed.
Research commenced to build bigger better more powerful ships.
The mothership hyperspaced back to Sarnassa.
There they found the remains of the khar-toba ship.
More enemy ships were deployed to detsroy the salvage corvette which was gathering information from the khar-toba ship.
Once again the enemy failed.
Research commenced.
The salvage corvette had successfully salvaged all the information.
The mothership was ready to hyperspace.
It ended up in the Great Wastelands.
A further mission was to be carried out.
More ships were ready to be constructed and deployed.
The mothership hyperspaced to another part of the Great Wastelands.
After the mothership had finished there it hyperspaced to Diamond Shoals.
As the mothership continued its course to Homeworld, more and more enemy ships attacked, it began to get harder for the mothership to continue it course to Homeworld.
The mothership hyperspaced to the Gardens of Kadesh.
Reseach was becoming more powerful and more advanced ships were able to be built.
Resources were harvested.
We wiped out the enemy, and continued our course.
We hyperspaced to the Cathedral of Kadesh.
Big sophisticated and powerful ships were dispatched by the enemy Taiidan.
We struggled but eventually managed to destroy all ships.
All information was gathered and some enemy ships were salvaged for inspection.
The mothership hyperspaced to the Sea of Lost Souls.
When the mothership got there, there was a ghost ship detected.
It had a field mechanism around it which had to be destroyed.
We destroyed all ships surrounding the ghost ship and eventually disabled the field generator.
We salvaged information from it.
It told us about the history of the ship and the history of our people.
All information was recieved.
The mothership was getting closer to the Homeworld.
It hyperspaced to the Super Nova station.
There was strong radiation and all ships had to travel through the asteroid belts to avoid damage.
Our goal was to destroy the station and all ships surrounding it.
We did with force.
We then traveled further till we came to the Tenhauser Gate to find that our fellow colonist ship the Bentusi was under attack.
We protected the ship and demolished all enemy ships.
The Bentusi gave us valuable information about the people of Sarnassa and Homeworld.
Our research was almost complete. Advanced ships were now able to get built.
The mothership hyperspaced to the Galactic Core and we found ourselves in the middle of a moving asteroid belt.
All asteroids were to be destroyed before they impacted the mothership.
Luckily we survived.
The mothership was well on its way towards Homeworld.
It hyperspaced to the Karos Graveyard.
Its goal was to retrieve information from the junkyard office.
But getting there was not an easy task.
The autoguns had to be destroyed, and we had to avoid the junkyard dog at all costs.
We took the data back to the mothership were it could be inspected.
All advanced ships were able to be built.
It was time to move on.
We hyperspaced to the Bridge of Sighs.
A huge field generator had to be destroyed.
Many enemy ships destroyed ours and we lost a tremendous amount, but we got there and destroyed all existing life!
We were able to continue to Homeworld unbeaten.
The mothership hyperspaced to the Chapel Perilous.
There was a huge asteroid on collision course with our mothership, if we didnt destroy it it would of brang our mission to find the Homeworld to an end.
We did destroy it seconds before impact.
Finally the mothership entered the outskirts of Higaara.
We was in a war with the Taiidan fleet.
Huge amounts of our and enemy ship were lost.
After a huge raging war we won and anihilated all that was left of the Taiidan fleet.
The war was over.
Peace was revived and the mothership could return to Higaara, our Homeworld.
All symbols of the old empire was destroyed.
But the conflict will never be forgotten.
A celebration marked the beginning of a new time.
So much destruction, so many lives lost.
Our colonists were realesed from cryogenic sleep.

The End.
