Hi, does anyone know how to reinstate the memory on my supermario world cartridge. It spent many years in the attic, but my wee boy plays it now and loves it. Problem is that each time the machine is switched off all the saved levels are lost and he has to start again. He is quite good at it and this is a pain for him. I presume there is a battery or something inside which has died after so long.
Can anyone help.

There is actually a way to take apart the cartridge, it is the battery that is dead and needs to be changed, Here is a video that shows you how

How ever The Part of the video that shows how to replace the old battery does not start until 3:10 into the video.
