I get in to work at 8am this morning to find my work email account full of chain mail. Not even different chain mail, but the same one sent about 3 times from 3 different people.

How can people be so nieve to believe in this stuff. It's just either some money making scheme or a 14 year old deliquent with nothing better to do than sit at their PC and type stupid emails saying 'you will die if you don't send this to 10 people'.

It's bad enough that our company is going through upheavals at the moment and that we're all suffering anything from apathy to mild depression the moment we step through the door, but things like this just make the day less bareable.

I've got someone coming over from Turkey today and I'll have to sit and talk to her for ages about our work, maybe I'll have time to go to the pub at lunchtime, but I'm not holding my breath.

oh well, I'm sure I can take out some of my frustration on Timesplitters 2 tonight, TV looks as good as ever; soaps, docu-dramas and something about hairy women on channel 4, though that last one sounds at least slightly interesting....nah.

Nah, if they get a lucky shot and it lands in a gap in the chain, you're done for. And if they're using Longbows, you're done for anyhow.

Ah, chain mail.

A bit heavy to walk around in, but works wonders when under fire from the arrows of enemy troops. Not quite as effective as a full suit of armour, but far more comfy and flexible.

What?

I hate chain mail, with a passion I normally reserve for those unable to understand when I want them to go away and preferrably gouge their eyes out with a red-hot, rusty spoon coated in arsnic. People stopped sending me the stuff after I replied to a few peoples with 15 copies each. Word got around, now they don't bother.
