I have done a little thing about the benefits of overclocking your cpu, i have not used any hardcore overclockers hardware and used retail cpu heatsink and fanm this is a P4 rig i will do it on an Athlon rig soon and also show you how to unlock it, anyway follow this link if you want to see the benefits of overclocking you cpu.......

True there can be dangers, but there can also be dangers building your own computer i would actually say that building your own computer was more dangerous.
