Keane warning for United
Roy Keane has told his Manchester United team-mates to raise their game and win every league match between now and the end of the season.
With Arsenal consolidating their position at the top by whipping Manchester City, United are now five points adrift in the title race.
Curiously, manager Sir Alex Ferguson has seen his side stumble to teams in the bottom half of the league like Bolton, who are desperate to maintain their top-flight status.
After the splendid victory over Juventus in the Champions League, United lost their way at The Reebok Stadium and that is a situation Old Trafford captain Keane is anxious to remedy in the coming weeks.
"In the Premiership you can't take anything for granted - but no doubt we will look back at only taking one point from Bolton over two games," he told MUTV. "You would be looking to take more from these two games if you want to win the title. At this stage of the season we need to win every game to keep the pressure on Arsenal.
"We made that many mistakes early in the season we can't afford any more."

Fair enough, you might say - a captain trying to get his team going again.
But considering his own dire performance against Arsenal in the FA Cup, when he seemed to disappear from the pitch and I only heard his name mentioned three times (once when giving away the free kick that led to our first goal), I thought it was a bit of a cheek. :-)
Newcastle look to be getting stronger every game, and are never mentioned as a Premiership contender. They are having a very good season, and have strengthed there defence with Woodgate. I'm not saying that they will win the Premiership, but I think they have just as good a chance as Man United.

Very true. They did beat us at highbury 4-2 last season, and it is a London derby - again!

Something which I think Arsenal have also been guilty of on a number of occasions this season.
What upsets me is that Man U consistentlyfail to perform against the lowliest teams. It's like we can't be bothered playing well because we think we deserve to beat them on reputation alone.
Sometimes the team forget that the Premiership is among the most competitive leagues in the world.
It only takes us to slip to a couple of draws and it opens up again - providing United win, of course. Though I do think you've got a tougher run-in than us... at least on paper.
We have Charlton, Blackburn, Everton, Villa, Southampton, ManYoo, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Leeds and Sunderland. In theory and on recent form, that's only one really tough game - but then we never expected to lose to Everton earlier in the season...
The only thing we're consistently getting the right results in is the Champs League.
