Got a Cd through the post of a live recording of a band. All legal as the band allow it.
Anyway the tracks are all just small files that play the CD (like most music CD's) and I was wondering if it is possible to upload them to my PC in a .wav format. Is it possible and how do you do it?

Its just I want to clean the tracks and reduce the crowd noise etc to make it sound better.

Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly you need a cd ripper such as CDex. Maybe WMP has this.

As I thought it uploads them into windows media format which can't be changed into wav or MP3 using the other software I have.

Any idea how to convert them from a cd into .wav?

I never use WMP so never bothered to check. Tried with winamp but can't find the right options in winamp 3 to do it.

Will try WMP now

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
