Personaly, I do find this to be a bit of a concern. He may well still be a good player, but it's undeniable that he's past his peak now. From here, he'll only go downhill. How fast will depend on how well he can change his playing style after all these years.
I'd guess Keane has perhaps another two years left at the most. Fortunately we've the strength and depth in midfield to manage without him, but his leadership and drive will be sorely missed.
All good things come to an end, I guess. I still remember wondering how on earth we'd manage without the great dane between the posts, but we didn't fare too badly.
We'll have to wait and see...
