So I sat on the train which had arrived about 40 minutes late. No rush for first lecture then. :-)
Pick up a copy of the metro from the seat and have a quick read.
28 stone 15 year old american kid and some of his fat friends are once again going to try sue McDonalds. Why?
Because since he was 6 he has ate one nearly everyday and they have made him fat.
Do people like this really think before they act. He ate the food everyday. They didn't make him so it is his own fault. End of story.
Then there was some stuff about some woman who wants McDonalds to sell more salad type stuff.
If people want salad why would they go to McDonalds in the first place? In saying that I was at a McDoanalds in France and they sold Salads, bagels and beer which was nice.
Train arrives at another stop and a bunch of guys get on and sit a few seat behind me. They have all just been released from the prison. There is some talk of drugs, holidays, their past crimes and their families.
Seem like decent enough people who just made a few mistakes in the past and have paid for it.
Anyway one starts smoking and the train guy asks him to stop. He does but this oldish woman near me has her face turned up at them and keeps making noises as if she is totally disgusted by their actions.
They then start to talk about guys they know who are still on the inside.
Mad Charlie. Wee Al Capone. Stinky Steve and so on.
Who comes up with these names?
I continue to read the metro which so far has been crap. A bit on Ms Dynamite and how she said something about a husband. Again who cares?
Then how she is all for no war. I wonder if it is a clever marketing stunt to appear to be on the side of the people against the government and all that crap. I begin to think whether she does care or if it is an act.
Skim over the rest of the brits bit as it is full of pop music crap.
I found listening to guys just been released from prison a lot more interesting than the news.
Hopefully the fat american kids court case will get thrown out again form being pointless crap. Any more crap news from today?

People who sue for such reasons should be taken out into the car park and shot.
I work with a few lads who have been inside. One was a smack-head and got sent down for robbing houses but he a good bloke, and, like you say, he has just made a few mistakes. He's off the scag now and getting on with his life so I've got a lot of respect for him....

Exactly. Maybe he should've played some sports or something rather than just eating at McDonalds all day.
