Do you think that the price of DVD's is justified? For example, a chart DVD compared to a chart VHS Video is at least £6 or £7 more. Sure some DVD's have extra bits (like the hour and a half of extras on Spinal Tap) that are worth it, but remember that scenes are deleted for a reason. Before you go any further please take note - I DO own a DVD player and numerous DVD's. I love the deleted scenes and the extra features, but can't see any reason for the hefty price tag. Luckily the recent outbeak of DVD's has brought the price of videos tumbling and I've been able to pick up all my favourite movies for next to nothing. And another thing. Does anyone actually realise that they're wasting their money on a DVD player? You can't record on it people. Why not wait another year and get a recordable one. Hopefully the regular DVD's and players will have dropped in price by then and balance shall be restored in the Universe.
