See, saying "I dont think it's funny" is one thing and perfectly understandable.
To start droning on like HAL about "Well of course the USA" means people wander away and go for a drink without you.
"I dont like it" is so much more acceptable than pointing out why factually it isn't possible and incorrect.

It's not funny though, it's just sad and playing to the opinion of certain groups who won't question it. Don't know about you but if I want comedy it isn't found in that publication.
