Just got my copy of Edge today, and besides the "interesting" front cover, there's an article on audio. Now, I've got my eyes on the Videlogic ZXR-500 speakers, but apparently it only supports Pro Logic, and not Pro Logic II - which is used for many GC and PS2 games I have. So... what's the difference? And can I still play Pro Logic II enhanced games with the speakers with proper 5.1 sound coming from the speakers, despite them not supporting the standard
The SoundStation 5.1 Speakers from Logic 3 supports all format standards, but it looks terrible... I mean, blue speakers? And I also don't want to spend £150 on speakers and a decoder when I already have the latter.
pro logic is 4.1 which is 3 channels at the front and the rears are mono with the sub being the .1
pro logic II "TRIES" to seperate the channels to 5.1 but to be honest doesn't always do it that well i don't think.

I wouldnt buy them they may look good but they sound soooooooooo tinny i was not impressed.
