The breakfast programs this morning, not a shred of any real news.

I skipped channels from BBC1, ITV and C4... what were they all discussing?

* Spice Girls Reforming
* Beckham getting kicked in the head or something
* How to lose weight

That was it for at least 10 minutes of channel flicking and every presenter is an irritating mong.

What happened to Iraq and that airport propaganda? There was nothing this morning. They showed a brief clip of scary North Koreans marching and a fire in South Korea.

Stupid nation

" Argh Argh the country is falling apart, war looming etc "

" So Claire, what do you think Gill should be wearing "

" Well I talk out my anus BLAH BLAH BLAH "

Yes, that would be good for a laugh wouldn't it ? Then we - or at least those alive - can sit back as the rest of the world says it was our own fault..... :)

I HATE News 24, well as much as I can motivate hatred for a mere tv show at least. Sky News is okay, though they have too much sport on ! CNN sucks as well, mainly because it's like some kind of liberal propoganda channel most of the time. Fox is my favourite, despite the time difference. It may not be of the highest standard every time, but there is guaranteed to be something at least of interest, and the reassurance I won't hear the words "beckham", and the fact they devote approx 30 seconds to sport, makes it all worth it, plus the occasional car chases with over excited reporters commentaries :)

Still ,each to their own eh ?

A "proper" news channel like News24 or SkyNews is your best bet. Though they spout a lot of crap most mornings as well. It's because "People don't want to be troubled first thing in the morning, they want gentle stories to wake them up".

What irritates me is that the American news shows you can get on cable/digital/sat all get accused of being dumbed down kind of news shows. So what was on these shows this morning ? Hmmm Iraq, the anti war movement, a US senator making the case against war, N.Korea, the world economy....no Beckham, no spice girls, no news that the "we love pop idol and idiot celebrities" brigade would find interesting. Sure, it has a US slant to it, but not as much as you'd imagine, and it's interesting.

Why don't we have any decent news talk shows ? I mean ones where the presenters aren't smiling gimps asking dormant questions ? It would be so good if we could have something like what Fox News has on in the mornings.... I'd much rather listen to real people who know what they are doing than reporters and presenters cracking stupid jokes and asking thick questions.

Gah..... cr&p country

maybe everything we hear on the news is total crap made up by a bunch of blocks with a large imagination and now they''ve run out of ideas.

It could (be) happen(ing)- every one trusts the news reporter....

No, hes not irish. That irish guy is a knob though. I think he is still in a mindset that thinks its really cool to swear.

Is that the Irish bloke?

I saw him on Born Sloppy (which sucks) then I got bored when he swore every 5 seconds.

Iain Lee was funny for about 5 seconds on the 11 O 'C**k' show before the novelty of a skinny grown man swearing wore off.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
