Enemy of the State is starting in about half an hour on Ch5, sorry, "Five". I think it's one of the big films they've bought to make themselves look more important.
Anyway, its a great film and does have a serious message about the amount the government can see what we are doing, especially online...
Well, I would recommend you to watch it, Will Smith gives a great performance, for once not as a funnyman which is a refreshing change.

Five doesn't have a bad picture anymore, and hasn't for the last five or so years (if the channel's even been around that long) And if you have Sky/digi/cable/whatever, it's even better.

Anyway, the most typical of typical things happened, and I bought Enemy Of The State on DVD a week back, and then saw it was gonna be on Five (happens ALL the time, seriously) Doesn't matter though, I wanted it on DVD, that's why I got it.

The end sequence is amazing, with the shoot out. Great film.

Doesn't give them licence for public broadcasting though.

Only on your scabby Tv! There were lots of adverts in a break - about 5 mins worth, but there were only 4 or 5 breaks and it was a long movie- 2 and half hours.
And I taped Buzzcocks. So neh.

Yes, I've seen it, and I plan to watch it again. Thanks for reminding me. It's a really good film with some superb acting and as you said it does carry a serious message.
