Anyone recommend decent MP3 sites which DON'T hit you with porn bombs or other popup rubbish? I'm after some albums to decide whether or not to buy them.
Don't bother telling me to use Kazaa or anything similar, because I've tried it in the past, and the files you get are often not what they claim to be and it's a waste of time! :-)

Try getting a pop up killer app if the sites end up giving you the music - you're getting something for nothing so expect a little effort.
Try http://www.mp3delivery.com/ It is a nice index for other sites but tends to be more mainstream stuff. I still find Kazaa fine, though I'm generally only downloading a few odds and ends as I'm one of the few people not shocked by paying £9 for a CD.

MP3 websites? Didn't think they existed anymore, not after Napster became popular. Haven't seen one for years. Use Kazaa, it's actually quite good, just get more than one version of the song, one of 'em is bound to be right.
I have never downloaded an MP3 off Kazaa which isn't what it says it is. Software, yes, but MP3's, no.
