Most Jap games not released here are either highly text based games that would take too long to translate and wouldn't make up for this in sales, or things that wouldn't appeal to the general western gamer, like virtual girlfriend and mobile baby simulator 101. Actually, I know some people who might have bought the first one!
yes....though most of the japan-only games I've heard of seem to be post office simulations, or perhaps bus conductor games.
