Right, I've somehow managed to set Internet Explorer to open every time I start up my Computer. I haven't messed around with any settings for internet explorer as far as I can remember.

I've even looked through all the settings and can't find any boxes to uncheck to stop it doing this. I also have Zone Alarm and Web Washer running, if that makes a difference.

Anyone got any tips? I remember on a post a while back, there was something you could type into the run command to bring up a list of everything in your start up. Anyone know it?. Which reminds me, I've also checked the start up folder, and IE is not there.

Is there some annoying "feature" that Microsoft have so kindly included for the benefit of me somewhere?

Any help will be appreciated. It's been annoying me for weeks, and I haven't a clue how to stop it. I feel so stupid :D

I sorted it. It was some option hidden deep within the tick-boxes of Webwasher.

Thanks anyway.

You may have a program that requires to be conected to the internet there for it will open your browser to try get acces to the internet. such programs like msn, anti virus or a lot of stuff for that matter. OR you may have internet explorer in your start up folder.
