Do you know? I think that we will end up with such easy to create games that people will be making their games themself. I think that the way Gaming is going, soon enough the production time, cost and effort will be so little that we will se lots more 3rd party games and many more games on the hole.

I mean It won't stop at the GAMECUBE or the X-Box, I think that although they are top consoles, and will be for the rest of the year I still think that there will one day be a Playstation: 34 or a Nintendo Starcube that will eventually hit a gaming limit, where if we were to go any further it would exceed the patience of the gamers with either samey games or 'played it all before' games a like.

I can only expect that the way we are going this will happen, maybe we will be making our own life-like WWF PPV's maybe we will be able to pick a Hollywood Movie Star as Mario of Luigi.

But now is now and we can all look forward to the superb prospects that are the Gamecube and the X-Box. Our kids can worry about all that stuff with easy to create this and 3rd party that. For now we have Nintendo, Sony, Sega and Microsoft. Yahooooooooooo!!!!!

Isn't this how gaming really took off on computers though? With people coding their own games for the spectrum and Commodore, sending them off, and getting them published?

The trouble is that the games today are so large, and not many of us have the tools necessary to produce games.

Unless you want to code an entire game on notepad using assembly languages and machine code instructions....

I would say they were playing on a Microsoft: Agi-2X9000

But that is just a guess!

Plus I can't believe Nintendo actually got a top 100 spot with Zelda 512: Links Final Hour! Who would have thought that Link was the son of Ganondorf! If I remeber correctly they had something in the last Millennuim about that the evil man being the good guys father! Star Battles? or was that one of those Disney films grandad always goes on about!

An old rip-off of Toy Tale: XPA1006-IV8

???????????????????????????

Remember the cyclical nature of games and your problem is solved. In 30 or 40 years time, your kids and your grandkids may never have played WWF:Smackdown or Tomb Raider or Chess or Shenmue or Zelda or Ridge Racer V and so on, so this will all be new to them. Having said that, I wonder what sort of console if any they would be playing them on?
