I was playing The Secret of Mana the other day and the game options are almost limitless, although the game is a bird's eye RPG the game is amazing, the plot/storyline and the thrill of the game is great. There may be no 3D bowser but the stimulation that any good game should provide is there.
I have always told people to hang on to their SNES Systems, I think that in years to come when the console will practically do everything for you, you will want to take control again.
In Secret of Mana the options are thrown in, in abundance. There are seven of this and seven of that to collect you get better and better weapons all the time and the game is one big build up to getting the best stuff you can to defeat the Boss.
I didn't finish the game but from what I played which was upto the last level leaves you entralled, begging for more. I think that game producer like Squaresoft and Rare need to look back at some of these games and really get to grips with the gameplay provided. The secret of Mana game is one of the best SNES RPG's around and like gold if you are trying to get your hands on one. But you cannot afford to miss such an excellent game.
Pay £30 if you have to just get hold of a SNES and look back at what amazing gameplay 3rd parties used to offer. Are YOU sure you want better graphics?! Think about it!
