I recently uncovered this hilarious/disturbing (but mainly hilarious) info about old Dubya himself, you will either laugh a lot, or you simply won’t, so here it is:
While at High School, Georges mother gave him a thesaurus to help him use bigger words in essays, therefore making him appear more intelligent (hell, he needs it!).
Now, There is no problem with this, I would do it myself right now if I had a thesaurus handy.
*checks for thesaurus*
Aaaaaanyway, Dubya had this thesaurus, and used it regularly, however, one day when he was writing about a poem or something he wrote:
“The girl had long lacerations running down her cheek”
The teacher was greatly disturbed by this, and asked him what the meaning of it was….
Young George then explained about the thesaurus, and that he was trying to get a different word for “tear.”
Now, as you may have realised, what he meant was tear(cry) and not tear(cut) and the teacher told him that if he could not tell the difference between the two, he would encounter serious problems in life!
Now, we have this man, leader of (arguably) the worlds most powerful country, making him (arguably) the worlds most powerful man, on the brink of war, a war to be waged against oppression and the like, wonder how many “lacerations” that will cause, and the profits it will gain from the oil (OF COURSE THAT’S NOT WHAT THEY WANT)
Nicely progressing, this is my next topic of discussion, which has been done before, but I would like to put my own spin, and opinions on it…..
I am not going to go into the (done to death) oil thing, but instead, into the “memorable” thing. George has not done much, apart from a few nifty speeches, and being the President during the September 11th attacks, he has not done anything memorable, therefore he is trying to find a way, any way, of making him a famous president, along the lines of Kennedy etc.
First of all he begins his massive “War on Terrorism” and the search for Osama Bin Laden, which didn’t go so well, sure he removed the Taliban, but his primary goal was never achieved and living conditions in Afghanistan are as bad as ever, so a wholly forgettable experience, now his attention turns to Iraq, should he be capable of winning this war, he will always be remembered as the President who freed Iraq from Saddams “evil dictatorship” and brought them into peace, or something along those lines.
Should this plan fail, or the war drag on past his term(s) in office, Vietnam style, his plan will not have been accomplished, which is why he has the North Korea “problem” bubbling on the sidelines, so he has a backup, to ensure this giant communist power does not have a nuclear force, basically, despite the information I gave at the start, Dubya may not be as stupid in some matters as you would think. In my opinion this could even bring about another cold war, or, worst case scenario – WW3.
I'll be buggered if I'm going, even if its conscription.
I'm sorry, but unless my country is personally invaded by Saddam, I ain't moving.
The thing is, we know what the last two wars were like, were more educated than ever and I value my life more than any other thing, even my country.
Yes it is.
What do you mean you don't believe me?
