I started to write using word 2002 on my computer only to find that microsoft equation editor wasn't in word.
I searched my files, searched the internet, looked through help files...
and yet I couldn't use the 1 program I needed the most for my write up.
In the end I resorted to using the uni's lab computers, today I spent about 25 minutes writing 400 words and 2 1/2 hours inputing equations, for that I only managed 2 1/3 pages of work. :(
The uni computer messed me around when it refused to save my work an started to make weird loud noises from drive A.
Anyway about 20 minutes ago I looked to see if the file would be displayed correctly on my computer, clicked on one of the equations and was not suprised by the missing program information.
Now I have service pack 1 for word downloaded, and it may have used my works suite disc, now as if by magic, the editor is now in word.
So now I don't have to spend large periods of time in front of headache inducing screens anymore :)

Jesus Christ, I'd rather have the bit sequence tattoo'd on my crevice than save important work to a floppy disk!

My mate was doing his final year dissertation and had about 3/4 done but he was saving it directly to A. Anyway, it all went wrong and he lost the lot. For God's sake, save to a hard drive or your user area. Floppy's are cack!
