Was playing away on my guitar, just gradualy getting slowly better.
Anyway while playing I noticed a program on about the childrens hospital.
One of the kids had this really horrible skin condition which makes it blister at the smallest of touches.
He was having an operation to have a skin graft to his fingers which had been clentched into a fist and trapped inside a layer of skin.
Due to his condition he can't do much and goes for hydrotherapy everyday. But the worst was the fact he can't hug his mother as it causes the skin to blister and fall off which causes him pain.
Made me think of my past. I spent a lot of time in hospital with the problems with my foot and my asthma. But this made me realise just how lucky most of us are.
Just wish there was a way to cure people like him.

That must be so horrible for the mum and dad. Not being able to enjoy being a parent to its full. I'd give anything to find a cure for epilepsy. It's scary for me, as my mum had an attack before Christmas, and now, every scream I here I think is her having another one. The last time she had one was when I was 5, so I BARELY remember it. Now I remember it second for second, helping out and everything. Bah, one day, there will be a cure for most common and know diseases/illnesses...hopefully.
