I own a crystal xbox I have it for about 6 months and the problem is when I press to open the xbox cd player to insert it opens but when I press to close it doesnt actually make any action, I have to power off then power on, Anyone got a solution?

It happens the same to me im thinking on buying a new samsung driver after installing the samsung driver it will be able to read all mp3,music videos,games emulators.

When you hear the cogs and gears give that grinding sound, you know you have done the right thing.

you could just push the tray in with your finger!??

Yeh, this happens with mine.

Damn annoying.

Keep your foot there to stop it ejecting again.

Or make sure the 'open' button isn't jammed/blocked/stuck in any way.

Or take it back, providing it's under warranty. If it isn't, get a new drive off eBay - they're really easy to replace.

My crystal X-Box disk tray opens and closes on its own accord which can get very annoying.

My Crystal XBOX tray doesn't open at times... it does most of the time, but not always.

Never had a problem with it shutting. If it's still under guarantee, take it back.

Push the tray with your hand, that might work, i think.....
