7.30. Started badly, wife's car wouldn't start, she called the RAC who got it going for her, 1 hour late for work.
8.45. Drop motorbike off for MOT
9.00. Call from lettings agency. The house we wanted has been snatched from under our noses. As of 5th April, we are now homeless unless another house comes up.
10.00. MOT fails. Quoted £200ish. will try and fix bits on the cheap.
12.00. cannot fix things on the cheap. New chain, sprockets, head barings, brake rebuild. £290.
Is today going to get any worse?

No. I'm kinda hoping that it's not that show, cos then the entire nation, including my boss, will see that I've done absolutely no work at all today and just chatted here instead...

used to work for mo, but nowadays the things i have to do need to be done during the day.
I go the other way,
Stay up late doing stuff, get up about 8.45 and go to work.

To be honest, i wish I had been too.
But then, a mate of mine has weds off like I do, and we go shopping and stuff while everyone else is at work, but then I'll get up at 7 as usual and get loads done before she gets up about about 11/12. It's a waste of a day to me.
