A friend recently downloaded a pdf editor, to edit pdf files - the usual edit text and images etc. The software was called PDF Editor 9.0 from

Having paid his 'licence' fee, he downloaded and attempted to use the software. It did edit, but end results proved it to be a 'scam'. Edited pdf's had the edited areas greyed out! Not a lot of use.
On trying to seek help or assistance from said web site, the site seems to be in a 'perpetual loop'. Yes, they did take his money.
Just thought I'd post this warning to highlight this growing trend.
