I've decided, that with the price of the 360 and games being so high, that I won't be able to get one for Christmas.
Which is a shame.
Instead I plan to buy my brothers X-box off of him so I can enjoy online play as he plans on getting a 360 on day 1.
I will get a 360 when the console/games go down in price. My decision to get an x-box is that there appears to be little difference in the quality of games and I still get to enjoy online play.
Or do I?
Just wondering but is there still likely to be many X-box gamers online come the launch of the 360? I hear that some of the earlier X-box online games never seem to have any users online. Is this the case?

The XBox is also getting plenty of support after the release of the 360. Some great games coming out which even 360 owners will probabl grab, taking advantage of the backwards compatability. So I very much doubt you'll face any problems. ;-)

There'll be plenty of xbox gamers online after the 360 launch.
Not everyone feels the need to get a 360 at launch, especially as the Xbox has so many online titles - many of which won't be bettered on the 360 straight away.
Xbox'll be cheap so there will be a larger userbase for the Xbox over the 360 for quite a while after launch.
