Hi all. I was wondering if any1 out there could help me. I've got a BT Voyager 205 ADSL Router and i was wanting to use my PC 2 host a small game server, specifically 4 Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. The problem is the router creates random IPs, to prevent hacking, and i was wondering if any1 could tell me how 2 create a static IP 4 it, or if there was another soulution, to allow people 2 connect to the game. Thanks 4 any help given.

BTW my OS is Win XP Home (SP2)

TY

BT have a limit on 6881 as that is azureus's port and they have a whole thing against people stealling all the lovely bandwidth.

Hopefully it will randomly come aroudn to the opened port.

I open 6112, then check which port is currently being used via ABC client, and poen that one up. I've got 6881 - ??? opened.

Panda don't suppose you use bit torrent, if so what port range you using as BT seem to be giving me jip and i have found a port range that doesn't interfer with my connection but i need on that gets through perfectly.

Bittornado randomly found one once (green light) but i forgot to right it down and i'm sure it will take a while before it comes around again.

I can't do port forwarding as some computers on my network i can't make changees to, to make them static.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
