I have had loads of fun on my SNES and my mates SNES, some most of the SNES gameplay was amazing, you'd be addicted for hours. Now all people seem to worry about is speed and graphics. Gameplay IS videogames, don't think that because the GC has better graphics you will have more fun playing it!!!
Keep your N64's just incase, you will be glad and plus they won't be worth much in a year or so - so just hold on to them. Put them in the attic/loft for now if need be, but the worst thing you can do is get rid of 'The fastest and most powerful games console on Earth!'

No, much more fun... especially with the speed bumps.
:D
The N64 is still my favorite platform out of the all those currently available. I mean....
Zelda OOT: Just the most engrossing and well put together game ever (IMHO).
Goldeneye: More fun than a weekend in a lotus esprit with Barbara Bach doing the map reading. Well, ok. Marginally less fun.
Banjo-Kazooie: The bird's insults makes me laugh. Sad, I know.
Diddy Kong: Underreated (by some) cart game where the opponents don't cheat. You know who i'm talking about, Mr M.
And they are still coming. Conker and Dinosaur Planet look fantastic and I haven't finished DK64 yet.
You can say one thing about nintendo and that is that they build there hardware to last. I'm on my second PSX and even it's cd drive is now starting to make noises.
I often wished that the N64 had had a bit more choice in the maturer games section and I won't even start on the RPG dearth but damn them if nintendo and rare can't make some of the best playing games out there.
If only they had Square doing RPGs for them I would probably not have needed to buy a PSX at all.
If it plays well it's worth playing and a lot of N64 games play very very well for a long long time.
