You're not factoring in the cost of each game too, though.
It's far cheaper to pay for one (even 2) MMORPG a year than it is to buy multiple console games and subscribe to Xbox Live.
Not that I'm saying Xbox Live is a ripoff - I'm still going to continue my subsription come 360 release.
