Both Man Utd and Arsenal are reported to be chasing the Brazilian striker's signature, but I have to say, could the idea of having to face Seaman, who was publicly ridiculed as a direct result of Ronaldinho's play, put him off a move to Highbury?

Thats surely the bargain of the season...I think he'd fit nicely in left midfield with giggs moving up to play alongside Van the Man

Hmmmm Ronaldinho not sure but he could take DB's place but i like Jeffers to stay and Kanu to leave.

Ronaldinho could quite easily slot into the 4-4-1-1 system Ferguson seems intent on forcing upon United. He would be much better suited to it than Scholes in my opinion, who is a midfielder before anything else and if that 12 million valuation is correct then that would be one of the bargains of the summer.

Apparently he's up for around £12million.

And I'm sure squad rotation would see him playing plenty of football.

But he's a Brazillian international who'd cost around £18m...
How would he be happy acting as cover for the likes of Giggs and van Nistelrooy??

And with his free-kicks too, I smell something....

he's be good cover for both Giggs and Nistelrooy in my opinion, and is also probably better suited to playing the "hole" than Scholes.

He's quite versatile, I think, and a good set pievce taker... *snigger*

I seriously cannot see why Arséne Wenger would ever be interested in him.
The only reasons I can think of would be that it's another way of him trying to beat Fergie to something; or that he wouldn't want to face the prospect of having to leave Seaman face-to-face with the Brazillian when United return to Hughbury next-season. :)

But I can still see him going to Serie A with Inter first.
I reckon that like so-many-others, he'll give the Premiership a miss for now.

I don't see how he'd fit into the United team either, really.
We seem to be doing well with Scholes and van Nistelrooy upfront; Solskjaer, Forlan, and a few youngsters act as cover for them; Veron, Giggs, Beckham, and Keane are doing well together in the midfield; and even they've got substantial cover in Stewart, Fortune, Chadwick, and more youngsters.

How would Ronaldinho fit into our team, WITHOUT causing another Veron-style problem??

I think he's more trouble than he's worth...

http://abc.net.au/soccer/items/s757569.htm

Brazilian world champion Ronaldinho returned to training at Paris St Germain on Friday almost a week late and amid rumours that he could be on his way in the summer.

Ronaldinho's excuse was that he wanted to have dental treatment in his homeland. But PSG were not impressed with his argument....

A temple that hasn't been picking up much in alms and donation trays recently.
