I've been looking at this on various sites and it's been gettting glowing reviews everywhere and I have become interested in picking one up, since its so cheap as well, my Volcano 9 is just TOO noisy and I want to replace it, now heres the problem:

NOT A SINGLE SITE HAS STATED ITS NOISE LEVEL!!!!!

ARGH!!!!

This has angered me greatly, I want it because it is good but I want to make sure it is quiet, because if its not, replacing the Volcano 9 would be pointless.


Anyone know how loud it is??

yack, just found out it is 46dB so thats not much different to my 49dB Volcano 9.

I want something cheap BTW TBN so getting any of those heatsinks you suggested THEN buying a fan is out of the question, I just want half-decent, quiet cooling out of the box, because I am not going to overclock on the PC it will be used on - Its an ECS mobo.

Dude, if youw ant quiet cooling get a Thermalright AX-7, SLK-800 or SLK-900. Just attatch a Papst or YS-TECH fan to it and Robert's your mother's brother.

Doesnt matter about fans Tbh.. noisy or not as long as they work.

What is it only I've had my eye on a coolermaster gpu fan and heatsink (copper) for a while. Only I was a cheap skate and installed another case fan but its very noisy in comparison but works
