I would go bankrupt to avoid paying back £16,000. Damn right. A little forward planning would be in order mind.

Monkey Man, did you know that Student Loans have been added to the list of "debts" that will be wiped clean should someone declare themselves bankrupt. You would only remain insolvent for a year or so (go travelling with stash of cash tucked away in parent's accounts) and you can then get any job and an account again. Black listed you will be young student, though there are ways around that i.e pay to have your nam removed (legally) from the list.

I'm sure that you'll spend the days off, undertaking ferverant research and ensuring that you don't leave your essays until the last minute.
