Out of FIFA 06 and PES5, which one would you prefer? FIFA06 which has Shrek and Donkey on the front cover? Or PES5 which has the best Defender and Striker in the premiership on the front cover?

I know we've already seen the PES5 cover and some of us the FIFA 06 cover, but what were EA thinking? Do they really ant us to mistake FIFA 06 for a cheap Shrek video game?

I go for the game i buy based on

A. Experience
B. OPS2 (all hail OPS2!)

When I've been a PES fan since the days of ISS, and OPS2 gives 5 a golden 10/10, nothing FIFA does is going to change my opinion. (Especially when the anticipation for FIFA06 was "warm" which in terms we can understand means "Not particularly excited" better only than "tepid" ie. "not excited at all".)

Apaz FIFA06 has TERRIBLY automated passing and very VERY difficult finishing (not Realistic difficult, unfair difficult). In think it's 2 main selling points are A. It is the official FIFA game, and B. It has more licenced teams. Myself, I'll stick to better football sim thanks.

And the PES cover is MUCH better. I'm a Man United fan, and I think FIFA could have picked any other MANU player other than Rooney and would be a better choice. He's a good player, but he's a git. Oh yeah, and the rain sucks.

It's not the box art that is important it is the gameplay of the games that matter if its good or bad.

Terry isn't one of the best known on the planet, really.

Whereas Henry and Terry are two of the best-known footballers on the planet as well, and don't look like they've had a piano dropped on their face.

FIFA 06 is definitely a huge improvement on the last one. As a PE afficionado I was genuinely surprised to find myself getting quite into it.

They're both unimaginative and dull.

Both covers look equally gay and could have been shot in a mens toilets.
