I have just recently bought this month's edition of SFX and I always skip to the page with the film listings of the year, and I noticed that Matrix Reloaded AND Revolutions are being shown in this year.
Reloaded on the 23d of May,
and Revolutions on the 7th of November.

Why do they want to let us watch both of these films so quickly? do they have connecting storylines, like some cliff-hangers in programs do? Either way I am definetly psyched-up for this brilliant year. So much to do and buy, so little money.

Agreed. I usually intentionally go into the cineam a good fifteen minutes late so as I miss the trailers. Unfortunately they seem to have gone from something that's primarily to get you interested in the film to simply condensed versions of main plot points.

Will be the best films of the year though, though lotr3 will be cool too.

Not getting involved. Want to have the entire film brand new to me when it comes out, and not know everything about it before i see it from browsing the net.

Does anyone know what those twins are? Are they advanced sentinels?

These films are set to be amazing. Hopefully, they will be original and not just more bullet time. From the Super Bowl trailer though, it looks highly original and amazing!

Who cares if it's 24 hours or 72, the films themselves will only be at least 2 hours long each, so it's not as if anyones going to notice the time difference.

Also, Revolutions is supposed to be released the same day that Reloaded come out on DVD, which will be nice.

Err...I think it's set over a 72 hour period.

The Superbowl TV Spot rules, the 100 Agent Smiths vs. Neo scene is gonna be flippin brilliant. You can get it from www.joblo.com

Go. See. It. Now.

Basically it's because both films are set over the amse 24 hour period, so Revolutions follows straight on from Reloaded. The films where both shot together, which is why it's taken so long for them to be released. From what I hear their will be a trailer to revolutions directly after Reloaded finishes.

I've been excited about this for a long time, as I don't just get to watch one Matrix film this year, but two. Can't wait.
