The best snowball fight in the history of time took place today, in a small country village named Bury Green in Hertfordshire, it was all quiet at about 8.30 and the news of school closures was coming in over the radios.
One by one the kids of Bury Green got on thier gloves and poured out onto the greens.
We all got together about 15 - 20 of us and by 9.00 war had gripped us.
Two snow trences with barricades and about 7 men behind each one were placed at the two end of the greens. Piles of snowballs were being stocked up at each base and the race was on to build the most and the biggeast snow balls.
By about 10.00 the two teams Boys VS Girls had declared war on each other, teams of people running across no mans land bieng battered down by snow balls the boys got the upper hand i went in with our biggest snow ball and battered down thier defences, the rest poured in and couvered them with snow. By 12.30 the war was over all girls had been captured or had serendered. Victory was ours!
