Hello and Welcome back to a so far action packed SRW Eclipse! Our next match coming up is a No.1 Contenders Tag Team match, with the winners going on to face the much hated Government Mules for the Tag Team titles at our upcoming PPV, SRW Burnout!
"Dead or Alive's music hits" And out comes The Rat and Stone Edge to a chorus of boo's and jeers from the crowd. Their not bothered though, especially Stone Edge who is confident, perhaps a little too confident as he mocks the crowd. They make their way into the ring and await their opponents.
"Star Blasters music hits" As the music deafens the arena, RawisAndy and Ice Blaster come out to a mixed reception from the crowd. They make their way down to ring keeping their eyes locked on their opponents. These two teams have had a lot of hatred for each other over the past few weeks which has been boiling up until Meltdown which is about to kick off right about…
NOW! As RawisAndy and Ice Blaster slide into the ring and start trading punches with their opponents! RawisAndy overpowers The Rat and shoves him into the corner where he relentlessly kicks him in the mid-section. Ice Blaster, to blocks a punch by Stone Edge and goes for the Irish Whip, but Stone Edge holds onto IB's arm, ducks and delivers sweeping kick to the face, Ouch!
Stone Edge runs over to pull back RawisAndy, but RawisAndy moves out of the way at the last second and Stone Edge goes flying into The Rat, sending him out of the ring! Stone Edge turns round, but only for RawisAndy to deliver a spinning wheel kick. The crowd start getting behind Andy as he notices The Rat laying in pain on the outside, he looks at the crowd for a split second, before flying out of the ring Rey Rey style! Whooooo
The Rat isn’t having much luck in this match so far, as he lay stunned n the outside. Finally the Ref gets some order in this match and orders RawisAndy to his corner. Meanwhile, back in the ring, IB and Stone Edge are finally getting to their feet, IB's up first though who runs into the ropes, and delivers a clothe… No, LOU THESZ PRESS! Stone Edge begins hammering away at IB's face relentlessly before giving the Tag to the Rat who has seemingly recovered from the beatings he took earlier in the match. Stone Edge throws IB's arm up allowing The Rat to deliver a kick to the mid-section.
The Rat grabs IB and slams him face first into the corner turnbuckle, IB staggers round before The Rat delivers a hard Backdrop Suplex! RawisAndy can only look on, wanting desperately to help his partner out as The Rat starts stomping away on IB, who really needs to tag RawisAndy.
The Rat drags RawisAndy to the corner where he makes the Tag to Stone Edge. The Rat turns round and starts talking trash to RawisAndy who immediately goes to step into the ring, but The Ref orders him back allowing DoA to cheat and deliver some kicks to the chest of IB! RawisAndy protests furiously as the Ref orders him his corner and the crowd fill the arena with boos and jeers for DoA's actions.
RawisAndy finally steps back and The Referee turns round to see everything fine. Stone Edge, knowing that IB is getting tired throws him into the corner turnbuckle, he delivers some punches before hiring IB higher on the turnbuckle. He sets IB up, but IB IS FIGHTING BACK! Stone Edge becomes weary and IB grabs his head… TORNADO DDT! WHAM! Both competitors are down and out!
Now, can IB make the Tag? The crowd is chanting for him as he shakes the cobwebs off and crawls towards RawisAndy who is pacing up and down with his arm outstretched. The crowd's chants get even louder as he edges very close…
BUT THE RAT RUNS IN AND KNOCKS RAWISANDY OFF THE RING APRON!! ARGH!
The crowd is extremely unhappy at The Rat and his actions as the Ref orders him back to his corner. Stone Edge meanwhile, is using the ropes to try and heave himself up, and he does so before making the Tag to The Rat. Stone Edge clutches his neck as he rests on the ring apron. That Tornado DDT must put a lot of strain on the neck. The Rat circles IB who is pretty much out of it. He finally picks IB up and tosses him into the ropes, IB ducks the clothesline attempt by The Rat and then comes flying back with a massive clothesline!
RawisAndy is slowly crawling back onto the ring apron and IB is once again been given the chance to get the Tag, can he do it this time? The crowd certainly thinks so as they get behind IB who crawls very slowly towards the outstretched arm of RawisAndy, is he? Isn’t he?…
AND IB TAGS RAWISANDY! THE RAT TAGS STONE EDGE! WHOOOO! RAWISANDY RUNS IN AND DELIVERS A HUGE CLOTHESLINE TO STONE EDGE, WHO GETS RIGHT BACK UP, ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE! RAWISANDY TURNS TO THE RAT. HE TOSSES HIM INTO THE ROPES, KICK TO THE MID-SECTION, Ba-BOOM, JIMJAMJAHA! JIMJAMJAHA GOD DAMMIT! AND RAWISANDY IS ON FIRE AS HE LEAP-FROGS UP TO THE TOP ROPE… FROG SPLASH! WHAM! MAJOR HANGTIME BABY!
The crowd is electric as the camera pans to IB who has got a chair! He runs into the ring, and looks to slam the chair into Stone Edge's face! WHAM! STONE EDGE ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AND IB HIT HIS OWN TAG TEAM PARTNER - RAWISANDY RIGHT BETWEEEN THE EYES WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!!!
IB is in total shock, but this only allows Stone Edge to kick IB in the mid-section and deliver… POWER STONE! WHAM! 1, 2..NO IT CAN'T HAPPEN…
3!!!!!! BUT IT HAS, DEAD OR ALIVE HAVE WON THIS MATCH DUE TO ONE SINGLE MISTAKE BY IB THAT PROVED COSTLY!

Great Match Scott. A top quality, high paced match. I was quite surprised to see DoA winning due to the Star Blasters attemting to cheat! It made a good ending.

I agree with DW, that was my favourite bit of the match, very cool the way the two big guys were tagged in and RIA whooped some bee-hind.
Enjoyable match Scott mate, thanks for getting it up, and it's timed pretty well cos we might have school off tomorrow so I can do the Eclipse then, giving everyone 9 days for their matches in what is an important week. Action-packed and fast, the way I like it. {:)

Excellent stuff, as ever, Scott! Very exciting match to read, with plenty of high-flying manoeuvres and cool ringside bits. I liked it when IB and RIA were building up the crowd and getting ready to cause some major impact, but The Rat or Stone Edge always seemed to get involved, stopping this from happening - but when RIA finally did get in, everything exploded! Very realistic. :-D

The crowd is electric as the camera pans to IB who has got a chair! He runs into the ring, and looks to slam the chair into Stone Edge's face! WHAM! STONE EDGE ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AND IB HIT HIS OWN TAG TEAM PARTNER - RAWISANDY RIGHT BETWEEEN THE EYES WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!!!
IB is in total shock, but this only allows Stone Edge to kick IB in the mid-section and deliver… POWER STONE! WHAM! 1, 2..NO IT CAN'T HAPPEN…
