Looks like it we'll have to carry on with 3 strikers and a couple of make shift strikers until the end of the season :-/

I've been worrying about this, but Fergie doesn't really seem to bothered about it all. And now that I've thought about it quite a lot, I can't really see all that much wrong with the current squad we have.

It's not like it's a small squad or anything, it's as big as it ever was - and possibly even bigger than the Treble-winning-one of the '98/'99 campaign with players like Danny Webber, Nardielloe, Lee Roche, Danny Pugh and Kieran Richardson waiting to be given more chance after having impressed on-loan and in the reserves.

And as for the whole striker thing, I'm now not all that bothered.
But I think that now Scholes should drop-back into midfield, and that Ryan Giggs should be given a chance alongside van Nistelrooy with his lack of pace. He may be slower, but he's still the same player all-over, elsewhere. I think he'd do a good-job of it, too.

Sure, Kluivert would've been a nice addittion, or maybe even David Bellion would've been a good player for the future as "The Next Henry", but where would the fit-in right now?
We're doing very-well at the moment with this 4-4-1 formation, and it could all go horrifically wrong if Fergie was to change it all now, just for one extra player (remember when Veron first arrived...!).

If we could've bought anyone, I reckon Escudé should've been the man.
We've got cover for Rio Ferdinand, Blanc, and Gary Neville, but ever-since Higginbotham left for Derby, there hasn't really been anyone to cover for Silvestre. Then again, John O'Shea's made me smile at left-back several times this season... :)

We have a lot of players scoring well at the moment which is good but the only problem I see is if Ruud gets injured - because he's the only striker we have who can muscle off defenders and make space for the likes of Scholes and Giggs. Unfortunatly we now dont have anyone to cover him and I think it's a bit of a risk.

It'd be nice to see as the young 'uns never really get a chance and they could set eurpoe or even the premiership alight...it happened to Rooney (sort of)

Can't see that happening except in the Champion's League funnily enough. If we win the next few games there, the young 'uns might get another chance on the big stage.

It'd be nice to see someone like Nardiello get a chance in the first team, he's been banging in the goals for the reserves!

Man Utd have 3 players on more than 10 goals, and forlan needs only one more to make it 4.

If Scholes keeps playing as he has, we might be able to make do til the end of the season.

Supposidly Ferguson looked at Klose this week but he was rubbish...I still think Fergie should make a last minute dash for Salas!
