$15 billion to help fight AIDS in the third world. And this was George Bush speaking. Frankly I'm amazed.

'Third World' = Iraq
'AIDS' = NSA codeword for terrorist
Number of Tomahawk Cruise Missles required to wipe out Iraq? 15,000
Cost of a Tomahawk Cruise Missile? $1,000,000

15,000 x $1,000,000 = $15 billion (US billions).

Call me a cynic but that's a bit flukey.

"This is a war that needs everyone to play their part. We're knocking on many doors; one of them belongs to Tony Blair, who has a passion for Africa," Bono said. "He needs to show leadership on this by increasing UK spending to $1bn a year for Aids, TB and malaria."

Surely we would rather spend the money on Cancer research, or dare I say it other "Western" diseases? TB is, however, becoming more prevalent in the UK (you can blame the illegal immigrants for that one) and it would perhaps be in our own interest to do something, as all these problems are not specific to Africa, they impact on us too.

My viewpoint is selfish but if the Government haven't given the NHS enough money to treat my mother's failing Kidneys properly (spotted 10 years ago but they neglected to tell her, she is now diabetic and thus cannot have a transplant, that is in effect a death sentence, though if they had have treated her with (hugely expensive) drugs or if research was now at a point where something could be done...)they can F**k off if they are giving one billion pounds to another continent.

Excellente.

Now if he does that for the environment, then that will really be good.

But that still is fantastic.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
