Tickets are already on sale!

The website www.readingfestival.com is currently linking to www.firstcalltickets.com/mf, who are selling priority booking weekend tickets, and not telling anyone exept for the mean fiddler subscribers.

Tickets went on sale at 6pm on tuesday, i got mine last night at about 9, and I have ticket number 933.

Get in quick, before everyone finds out and it sells out really early like it did last year.

I went to Reading a couple years ago. I paid £165 for a weekend ticket; well over the odds I know, but I wanted to go cause' I was (and still am) seeing my girlfriend at the time and decided to go for the weekend.

Well. I wish I hadn't even bothered. I effectively paid that amount of money to smell for 3 days, get hardly any sleep what-so-ever, not to mention getting jabbed by some **** with a needle, which happened whilst walking the festival grounds, thus causing me to join the long queue to the medical tent to later find out to my relief that the skin wasn't broken. Oh, and the icing on the cake? I didn't like any of the bands that I managed to see - except for Queens of the Stone Age.

No force on this earth could get me to go again. Ever.

And then you have to get all the drugs, alcohol and cigarettes on top.

Not to mention wellies and other wet weather clothing.

And who cares about wire cutters or whatever it was FM, have you ever even been to Reading Fest, it's the best thing EVER. Even better that porno I'd say.

I think I'll wait until there's some more confirmed news of who is playing before rushing out to buy tickets...
