Someone tell me the reason why SR excludes VAT when there's no real point in doing so?
As far as I'm aware, we only ever advertise ex VAT prizes with our domain names, and whenever we do, it's clearly marked. All the other prices you see on the site are inc VAT and with free delivery. And yeah, keep this stuff in the customer service forum, punk.
For business sales of course. If you buy something for your company at home, or indeed I buy something for the office, the VAT can be redeemed from the government when you do your tax returns.
So the less VAT prices are for the information of people who are buying with that aspect of business tax policies in mind.
Note that they also put the value of the purchase including VAT there as well, so it's not like you're being made to calculate anything.
