I have a netgear router and Xbox Live and I want to do a system link and it says to link 4 xboxes you need an ethernet hub will a router work without being connected to broadband or even if it is connected to broadband DOES IT WORK!!!!!!!!!!????????????
Also do you then need to buy two of the cables?

It does work and all you need is standard stright through CAT45 cables from any computer shop.

The link cables are twisted pair for connecting Xboxes together without a hub and wouldn't work with your router anyway.

Dont bother answering this i got the answer and Special Reserve xbox link cables are VERY expensive
