Was just wondering if anyone here is interested in colouring Line Art pictures in programs like Photoshop? I recently tried to colour a ninja type picture in but found it a bit harsh for a first time picture. I thought I'd post up a picture I am going to colour and show you how I get on :) If anyone else wants to colour the pic in as well that would be cool.

Hint: Set paint layers modes to multiply and also burn and dodge tools ;)

You'll know when I show you how nice it looks :) Might grab an example of a very well coloured peice quickly.

Now that was the guys first attempt. Blew me away however :) Just takes a while to get the basic colours down and then add the lighting details etc.

Another example quickly before i go to school:

Pretty nifty I'm sure you'll agree :)

Well I've made a start on it. Basically I am going to colour the solid colours first and add details later. Hair colour may change as I dont know what colours the rest of the picture will be

Oh and another hint quickly, if you're having problems with actually colouring the picture a colour other than black and white make sure you do this:

Image>Mode>RGB Colour

All of my hints are from Photoshop 6 by the way if anyones confused
