If the potential energy of the grunt was converted into actual kenetic energy via the olly, I think he may have leapt over the roof.

I wish someone had a video when I "tried" to do a summersault on a Raleigh Chopper. I reached an impressive speed (using my three gears to achieve maximum velocity), hit the ramp, flipped upside down and landed on my back, the bike invariably landing atop of me. The "oof" noise I made was heard in China.

At least put this on special observe...
