Forgive me if this game already exists, or if something similar has been posted, but I haven't seen it. I've played Virtual Springfield, but this would be much better!

Basically it would be your typical 3D adventure, with characters taken from the Simpsons world.

There would be 5 playable characters, those being Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge and Maggie. Each character would have different skills, so you'd have to select different ones to perform different tasks.

This would work in much the same way as Donkey Kong 64, with the characters needing to be unlocked, and then you can change your character at various points in the game.

The really great thing about this game comes from the huge world that the Simpsons could provide, and the number of characters you could meet. the variety of quests are endless! They could be based on different episodes, or be specifically designed for the game.

How would you like to try to beat Nelson the Bully? Try to save Bart from Side Show Bob?

There could also be hundreds of mini-games set in various areas, such as a beer chugging contest at Moe's, stop the shoplifters in the Kwik-E-Mart.

There are so many possibilities for a Simpsons 3D adventure, and the cartoon has such a strong fan base, it'd surely be a hit!

My partner and I are in agreement with moggy4 + B & K about paying the maintenance fee and the reasons they give for doing so. We haven't paid yet but are thinking about it. If we take Vigo to court like we are discussing we don't want anything to go against us. I am sure the lawyers would say that it is a separate issue.

I tend to agree with you B&K that maybe we should (reluctantly) pay the maintenance fee, as it is not that much, And would be the right thing to do, just makes me angry when vigo have been so deceitful with us.
I will certainly ask for a receipt for this payment.

As you say we could treat this as a separate issue from the money owing to us.

Has anybody else had any thoughts on Vigo's latest contact about the maintenance being separate from the developer. It doesn't look like they are separate companies but they may be.
It is difficult to tell who you are talking to with different email contacts being used.

We are a bit worried that if nobody pays no maintenance will get done which will be bad for the properties and mess up any plans of renting out through another person.

But if just a few of us pay then they still won't do the maintenance and we will have wasted more money. We need to act together on this. What does everybody else think?

We are beginning to think that we should pay the maintenance fee as it not that much, and treat as a separate issue from the money owing to us which we should consider taking them to court for at a later date.

We ought to all think about his and let everybody else know what we plan to do through the forum because we all need to know what everybody else is doing.

We should all insist on some kind of written invoice. We are a bit concerned that if we transfer money in to their accoun as they say they will not have a proper record of who has paid them.

Has anyone else received this email about the maintenance fee and 'threat' of non-payment?
Do we stick together and not pay, because of the non payment of guaranteed rental?
This would probably require lawyer assistance?
However, the lawyers we used, Legal Independence, would probably be no use due to past experience.
Has anyone seen anything in the contract regarding the 1.5% per day and 2 month non payment penalty?
Any suggestions?

That sounds like an excellent idea!! Beleive it or not I thought of a Simpsons game very similar to this but couldnt be bothered to write it down.
There should definately be more Simpson based games, they would be very popular and sell by the bucket load!! Any more news on the Wrestling and Bowling Simpsons titles?? They were suppose to be released last month.
