Where did the TI 4800 come from ??? anyone know if it is any good ?

It isn't completly new, it's an old card with 8x agp.
I'd like to see the bench tests as the radeon will still be better, thing is, it's cheaper.

Right, Nvidia were annoyed that ati became the new kings of the gfx card world so to combat the radeon 9700 with its 8x agp Nvidia released their geforce 4 cards with 8x agp as well. Basically the Ti 4800-SE is the Ti 4400 but with 8x AGP (same clock speeds though) and the Ti 4800 is the same as the Ti 4600 but with 8x AGP.

So if you have a motherboard that supports 8x AGP and you aren't a fan of the radeon or the fact that its that bit too expensive then Nvidia have provided a cheaper alternative until their new gfx card comes out.
