I listened to 'The Bends' today and the vocals on that are superb. Little Thom sings with such passion and vigour, but listen to 'Kid A' and 'Amnesiac' and it's a totally different story. Poor old Thom.
Someone gave me the mental picture of the band wheeling Thom into the studio, still asleep and in bed for Kid A and Amnesiac.
They start rolling, prod him gently with a stick and he half-sits up with his little night-cap on, rubbing his eye.
