"Why is it painfull playing games."

I have suffered very stiff and soar arms after playing samba ded amigo for two days. This is not the only incident that has occured to me. I also recieved blisters while playing on Mario Party on than rotation game where you have to fly that little red thing. I also hurt my fingers on the button bashing game on the dreamcast virtua athlete. This is scary if we are gonna get games like this in the future which are making you work to hard even though samba de amigo is great fun and exercise it kills your arms if you go above easy mode. I am not aware of any other games that hurt people so please list them here. Thanks

It's all in posture and grip. The same applies to using a monitor for long periods. I think the console manufacturers should produce more health and safety information regarding correct posture (don't rest the beer on your lap whilst playing and keep your feet on the floor), proper breaks (every hour for 10 minutes rather than playing till you fall asleep), and calisthenics (not picking up the phone for a pizza, proper relaxation exercises to relax muscles in fingers, hands and forearms).

I saw in a paper that someone played there N64 so much much that they damaged their finger and is now scared because the skin was worn down to the bone.

I found that hard did you. I really wanted that tequido (soz bout spelling). I found it hard. I hate losers who had to use the auto pad or sumthing.

Errrrrr...I've never been hurt playing a game.

My fingers ached a litte after doing the torture bit on Metal Gear Solid, but that was it.
