“I Don’t Suck” blasts through the arena. The remix featured on SRW Anthology (WWE Anthology) plays out two members from Team Angle. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin strut to the ring to a chorus of “You Suck” chants. They both enter the ring with microphones.
Charlie Haas proudly shows off the Team Angle logo on his shorts before speaking.
“Now some of you people here don’t know me! I’m Charlie Haas, member of Team Angle. I’m a young athlete with a lot of potential. I’m still waiting for my chance to show Commissioner Reaver what I can do. Y’see, I’m gunna give you all a taster of what is yet to come from me in SRW.”
Charlie gives his microphone to Lillian Garcia, who is at ringside. Shelton puts the mic to his mouth.
“I, am Shelton Benjamin, and I am Brock Lesnar’s former run-in buddy! I don’t give a damn about anyone. This just goes to show how excellent Mr. Angle is at mentoring us! Now like Charlie, tonight I will also show Reaver what I am capable of. That is why as a proud member of Team Angle, I am calling out The Rat! Yeah, he can get his punk áss to the ring right now.”
“ARE YOU DEAD OR ALIVE?” Dead Star blasts as Dead or Alive member The Rat comes out to the ramp. He takes a microphone from one of SRW’s crappy workers and starts to talk.
“What do you guys want? I come here to prepare for my match, not be called out by you two. Unless you’re making an offer for me, I’m leaving.”
The Rat turns around to leave, but is met by Kurt Angle.
“Hey c’mon guys, I’ve got to go prepare for my match. Let me go.”
Kurt Angle snatches the microphone from The Rat.
“I’ll break your freaking ankle!”
WHAM! Kurt Angle smashes the microphone straight over the head of The Rat. He still has the mic in his hand.
”You wanna mess with Dead or Alive, costing them their tag team title shot?”
Kurt rolls The Rat down the ramp, and ends up throwing him into the ring, where the two rookie members of Team Angle are waiting. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin both attack The Rat, like untamed dogs. Kurt Angle climbs into the ring and joins the duo. The both hold the battered young DoA member up. Kurt has a steel chair. SMASH! KURT ANGLE HAS JUST BLOODIED THE RAT! IT’S LIKE A CAR CRASH IN THE RING!
Kurt Angle stares at the beaten Rat, who is lying face up. He rips off the black Dead or Alive t-shirt and picks up another mic.
“Rat…you messed with DoA…payback’s a bítch brother.”
The SpecialTron goes black, and something of what appears to be a local pub. A smartly dressed DW appears on the screen. He stares for a few seconds, before saying these words. “Oh…it’s…true!”
Back in the ring, Kurt Angle locks the Angle Lock on The Rat. If you can’t picture it, just imagine the incident where Kurt broke Scotty’s ankle. Obviously, I only want to injure The Rat for today. Back to the action. Team Angle’s music plays them out. Do Dead or Alive and Team Angle have some sort of an alliance, or is it just Kurt Angle and DW’s friendship? That doesn’t matter right now. It looks certain like The Rat will NOT be competing in his tag team match against the Star Blasters. DW is far far away in his hometown sharing a pint with his mates. Crusher is busy doing, errr, other stuff leaving Stone Edge alone, partnerless. Will he find a partner before the night is over, or will he go out all-alone?
