The DVD's I currently own are:
JURASSIC PARK/THE LOST WORLD:7/10 A brilliant box set that you will want to watch time and time again. The first film is especially good, the second not so groundbreaking but well worth a look. Tons of added features such as dino history, trailors, cast info, deleted footage, etc..
JAWS:9/10 A great advetisment for DVD. Tons of features included, trivia, story boards, documentries, and stacks of info. The film is a timeless classic that will never be forgotten. Superb viewing entertainment and a must have title!!
SLEEPY HOLLOW:8/10 Fantastic gothic scenery surrounds this film. Based on the legend of the headless horseman this is one of Tim Burton's films at its best. Effects will stun you!! Extras included are trailors, cast info, making of, etc..
THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT:9/10 One of the scariest movies ever made. Not the best DVD in terms of quality but thats because it was shot using just a camcorder. Superb storyline matched with great bonuses, deleted footage, news bulletins, and heaps of info.
STIGMATA:7/10 A good film with some fantastic camera shots. It works well as a horror/suspense film. Well worthwhile. Featuers included, deleted scenes, alternative ending, trailor, info on cast, etc...
ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS:8/10 A cult classic. Made when the horror genre really came of age. This has some sickening scenes and even the box warns you that scenes will offend some. Banned for some years, but great to see it on the shelf. Brilliant story, even better gore but unfortunately no features all be it a trailor.
THE GREEN MILE:8/10 Based on the Stephen King novel, this is a brilliant translation and almost an exact copy. The story is fantastic and will have you gripped. Again another top performance from Tom Hanks. One to recommend. Lots of extras such as documentries, behind the scenes, etc..
AMERICAN PSYCHO:6/10 Took me by surprise. A bit disappointing is the lack of gore, but other than that a well written film based on the novel and a look into yuppie culture. Deleted scenes, trailor, about it.
THE VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED:7/10 Based on the old classic, this is John Carpenters version. About a town ove run by alien children this is a carbon copy of the original, staring Kirstie Allie and Christopher Reed. Some extras are included making it a worthy title.
FIGHT CLUB:10/10 The best DVD yet. This is absolutely packed full of extras, so much in fact that it comes on 2 discs!! The film is brilliant. Worth watching just for the huge twist at the end. Will want to make you go out and fight though - you have been warned!! Extra features include, behind the scenes, making of, trailors, cast info, music video, extra angles, interviews, and so much more. A real must have!!
