But before I go I would just like to say a few words on the ultimate Marriage, one we have all talked about for many years, yes you have already guessed it the Marriage of SEGA and NINTENDO.
Many people would love if these to giants of the computer industry would jump into bed together, what with the great games the two produce it is understandable, that we would like to be able to play both sets of games on the same machine.
However I feel that soon hand held consoles are going to become more commonplace than normal home consoles (N64, DC) etc. We already see the GB has Metal Gear Solid and other Sony games on it. If a powerful enough GB came along it would be safe to say that many would clamour to get one. Perhaps a GB that could be linked to a TV so when you get home you can project little Pikachu onto the Big screen. This would leave the path open for a multiformat console. Which perhaps is what Nintendo are aimimg at with the GBA doubling as a controller for the GC. What would be great though is if the GBA was the crux of the power, you could go to work on the train practising on a game, developing a character etc, and then go home, hook it up to a friends GBA and then battle on the big screen. Obviously the issue would be life of batteries etc, and how would they interface together, but it is something that both SEGA and NINTENDO are thinking about, consider how SEGA said they may not make another console and become a software developer so it may not be so unlikely. Who knows the marriage might happen but will it work?
Oh well off to think about my own see you all in about 3 weeks time
